Get the Skills to Be a Managing Esthetician in

The Esthetics Program provides the hands-on training, practical experience and industry support it takes to become a skilled skin-care and esthetics professional and start helping others to put their best face forward.

Total Spa Skills Training

As a student in this program, you’ll learn to provide the total spa experience, including several different types of facials and masks. You’ll learn how to use the machines for special facials, as well as:

  • Body Polishes
  • Body Rubs
  • Relaxation Massage
  • Make-Up Application

Schedule

Classes run Tuesday – Friday, with three potential schedules to choose from:

  • 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Complete in 7 Months
  • 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Complete in 6 Months
  • 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Complete in 5.5 Months

Classes start on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

All students are required to complete 16 hours of Saturday attendance each month.

Hands-On Experience with Real Clients in a Spa Setting

Esthetics is a hands-on field, and at Raphael’s School of Beauty we believe that’s how it should be taught. As a Skin-Care/Esthetics student you’ll work with real clients in our professional, on-site salon, providing a wide range of spa services under the guidance of an instructor.

You’ll feel comfortable moving into any spa setting after gaining hands-on, real-world experience before you graduate.

Salon Management Skills

In addition to the art and science of skin-care, this program is designed to teach all areas of being a salon manager such as hiring new employees, payroll, taxes, etc. As a graduate, you’ll enter the professional world with confidence knowing you have both the technical spa training and practical business skills it takes to build a successful career.

Work with Professional Product Lines

As a Raphael’s student you’ll have the chance to work with many top salon quality product lines. This way you are able to experience a wide range of products that you will use in your career.

Skin-Care &Esthetics Kit

When a student enrolls in the Esthetician course, they will receive their books, manikin, apron, and nametag the first day. At 80 hours of attendance, they will receive their Glo-Minerals mineral make-up and Bio-Element kits. At 180 hours attendance, they will receive their iPad and access codes.

State Licensing

As a successful graduate of this program, you’ll be fully-prepared to take the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology licensing exam to become a licensed managing esthetician.
